Since her three (3)years old she began to study music at the Institute of Fine Arts, through the School of Music, the popular school of Arts (EPA) and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Antioquia. In her youth, she joined the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, where she could combine her two loves. She studied Industrial Design at the same time was part of the Choir of the university, widely recognized for its acting. In her professional life she was devoted to advice on design and assembly of cabinets, stands and stores, textile companies in the country. Likewise created her own clothing and leather goods company. she entered the world of antiques, specializing in restoration. Then as director of civil works offered advice on interior design and architecture. In the year 1999 she traveled to the Celebrity Centre in Hollywood, California, where she enrolled in administrative and linked with Hollywood stars. In 2000, resuming her musical artistic vein, she founded the group "Claudia Diez and her orchestra Tone 40." Her debut was so successful by doing the presentation at bongos, owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan. In January 2001 she had the opportunity to entertain a private event in which she sang to Mrs. Celia Cruz, who was deeply impressed with the talent of Claudia Diez. She has shared the stage with Puerto Rico Gran Combo, Juanes, Fanny Lu, Checo Acosta, Peter Manjarrés, Fruko and Tesos, Fonseca, Jerry Rivera and Elvis Crespo. Special guest of the Hispanic Fest in the past five years. Invited by the Mayor of Paris to participate in the Carnival Tropical 2009 as Ambassador of Colombia Folklore. As an Artist received the International Star Award 2009 and the Medal of Hope for Hispanic Unity Of Florida. Claudia has composed over 100 songs, has made so far three musical productions: My crazy Life in the Year 1997, On the weekends 2005 and The cumbion 2008 year. Since 2005 Claudia produce the event "Tribute to Colombia," presented at the City of Hollywood FL, on 20 July as part of the celebration of the proclamation of independence. An event which highlights the cultural greatness of our country. In 2010 has presented its fifth version with more than 3500 attendees. She has become an ambassador of Colombian folklore abroad and her efforts are aimed at rescuing and placing the value and greatness of the musical culture of Colombia. In 2009 created TROPICAL-SYMPHONIC CONCERT. This show was first presented as part of the Bicentennial celebration of Colombia, June 18, 2010 at the Teatro Metropolitano de Medellín in the company of the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ballet Folklorico de Antioquia. Claudia poses a series of concerts to support children in their two cities and accurately presented to the public in the city of Fort Lauderdale Tropical Symphony Concert on July 16, 2011 in the company of the Amadeus Youth Orchestra of Medellin and the Ballet Nacional de Colombia. FORT LAUDERDALE MEDELLIN 2011 The concerts we want to accomplish with the Amadeus Orchestra, given the social nature of the birth of this group of young country that is part of it. There are 140 children living in different districts of Medellin, precisely those who suffer the hardships of displacement, violence and common crime, and where the lack of opportunities, creates social imbalances. Linking Symphony Orchestra with Claudia and her orchestra Tone and the complement of the dance through the National Ballet of Colombia, extends the learning landscape, enhances the knowledge and grow the artistic opportunities of these children and girls. And most important to them and they are certainly out of conflict or armed violence every day around them. Get resources for them and they maintain and grow the music school providing an opportunity for more children in Colombia and also intend to replicate the AMADEUS program in Broward County. |
